Tips for transporting your wedding cake & desserts:

  • Cold Car: grab a hoodie and blast that AC. Your cake & treats will travel best the colder they stay.

  • Cake = Front Seat Only: the floor of your front passenger seat is the safest place for your cake. NEVER on the seat itself (you need a flat surface).

  • Friend’s Lap: For 3-tiered cakes, the lap of your passenger is the best option if possible. You know what they say… thick thighs save cake lives.

  • Flat & Secure: All your treats will be in boxes and should be kept as flat as possible (floor or flat trunk). If you have boxes stacked in bags, best to unstack them a bit if there’s nothing holding that stack in place (wall, seat, other boxes/bags, etc).

  • PRO TIP: flowers work wonders to cover any little blips, bumps or mishaps that might happen in transportation.

Tips if you need to pick-up the day before your wedding:

  • Cakes: hold up the great overnight and should be refrigerated or kept in a cool location. Bring to room temperature at least 1-hour before serving.

  • Cupcakes: hold up the great overnight and should be refrigerated or kept in a cool location. Bring to room temperature at least 1-hour before serving.

  • Cake Parfaits: hold up the great overnight and should be refrigerated or kept in a cool location. Bring to room temperature at least 1-hour before serving.

  • Cheesecake & Pudding Parfaits (GFF & V options): MUST be refrigerated.

  • Cookies: hold up great for 1-2 days and should be stored at room temperature (can also be frozen).

  • Donuts: most hold up ok overnight and should be stored at room temperature in their boxes. Glazed donuts do not keep well overnight.

  • Pretzels: hold up ok overnight and should be stored at room temperature in their boxes. Beer cheese should be refrigerated.
